Pool & Beer & Ireland — When in Ireland a couple of years ago and staying in an Airbnb above a pub, we went to the pub to have a beer. The locals insisted that we try Sullivan’s beer because it was brewed up the street. They generously bought us a Sullivan’s and challenged us to a pool game. Pool is very different in Ireland. I was intimidated by that and the fact that this challenger had his own pool cue, but I won the game! It was a great night of generosity, fun, and camaraderie!
