Marine Recon/Rodeo — 47 years ago, I was selected to be a Reconnaissance Marine. When my fellow Marines and I graduated from the Recon course, we celebrated by going to the Camp Pendleton Rodeo. We bonded throughout the course and cemented our brotherhood by drinking beer and celebrating becoming Reconnaissance Marines. I am still in touch with those Marines today and toast them and the fallen every November 10! Semper Fidelis!
