My dad passed away in 2014! We held his memorial service at a tavern that he frequented. Unbeknownst to me…. it was Karaoke night… and after several brews, I actually got up and sang a song by Janis Joplin. We regularly drank together after I became an adult. Oh Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz….
