Friends til the end – My dad had a best friend named Irv. He was a very religious Catholic man. Every Sunday after church 12 noon Irv would be coming down the hill in his Sunday’s best clothing in his old plastering truck with a 12 pack of Stag Beer. Then him and my dad would go in the hot house with the plants and my dad had his little square weather radio that would play the baseball game and him and Irv would argue who is the best Cardinals or Cubs. That was their Sunday fun day when I was a child.
